Our colleagues and Construction Delay Experts attended the XVIII Congreso of the Club Español e Iberoamericano del Arbitraje in Madrid and the III Jornada CEIA de Arbitraje Internacional in Barcelona. These events, among the most important in the field of international arbitration in Spain, Europe, and Spanish-speaking countries, brought together the best professionals in the sector.

This year’s theme was “Arbitration and State: a complex symbiosis” and the congress addressed topics such as the State and measures to halt arbitration proceedings, the State’s responsibility for the recognition and enforcement of awards, and the State as an agent against corruption in arbitration, among others.

It was a great opportunity for Amaël Olivier, Nora Ibañez and Gustavo Recio Iturralde to meet with colleagues, learn about the latest trends, and share past experiences. Many thanks to the Club Español e Iberoamericano del Arbitraje and the Il·lustre Col·legi de l’Advocacia de Barcelona (ICAB) for the excellent organization and to all participants for their valuable contributions.

See you at the next event!
